Rayila thrives on chaos and mass euphoria which is what he is trying to create by opting for the yes/no way. Ruto, by being "watermelon" on this issue, is denying rayila his desire. Ruto najua anamezea hii bbi mate sana as it will benefit him immensely just in case he becomes the president.

I agree with you on Raila thriving on chaos but not on Ruto benefiting from BBI. I have heard that statement so many times but I don't think the people who say it actually have a reason why.
How would BBI benefit Ruto, if you don't mind?

In that case, why is it that the people leading the BBI are Uhuru and Raila? Ruto seems to be the outsider virtually running a 'no' campaign all but in name?
Why call for the BBI referendum to be carried out in 2022?
Why call for the referendum to involve separate points so people can choose what the want and reject what they don't?
The BBI is clearly a path back into government for both Uhuru and Raila. That means if Ruto joined the bandwagon he would have to settle for a side role, maybe as a deputy prime minister or cabinet minster.
Ruto is ambitious. He knows 2022 represents the biggest opportunity for him to become president due to the disillusionment of the population especially the Kikuyu whose 'majority' cannot stand the Kenyatta presidency any more.
A massive section of that vote basket is leaning towards Ruto so why would he settle for a junior role under the BBI for the hope of clinching the presidency in another, say 10 years if a Mugabe-esque Raila does not demand his own 10 years as well?
Ruto has practically washed himself clean off all sin which Raila has, though unintended, picked up like the myopic fool he is - blinded by his greed for power.
Watch the game. The Uhuru-Raila team cannot beat Ruto without BBI unless they rig him out or harm him.
