Bizarre Burial of Two Sisters

A bizarre incident was witnessed in Katheri Timau, Meru County when two sisters, Irene Makandi and Kawira Karwiro, were buried in the same grave. Whereas one fell sick and succumbed, the other committed suicide upon learning about the sister's death. The one who died of sickness (Kawira) was aged 37 while the one who committed suicide (Irene) was aged 30. In a suicide note, the suicide victim instructed the parents to bury concurrently with the sister. Other revelations indicate that the suicide victim was blaming herself for the sister's death, hence the wish for a painful death.
