I do not deny that but this little unknown fact

Really and truly this is a very good and sound motion which should be supported by all MPs and passed swiftly and speedly.

We need to realise from the onset that Bee farming, crocodile farming, snakes farming and such allied Agricultural activities, whether for food or scientific research, come with attendant risks and dangers.
You can imagine the damages these activities cause when the animals breach the fences and the cages they are kept in and escape out.

Bees are to blame for hundreds of death of people and livestock each year, for instance.
The importance of registration is for Public Health and Public Safety.
Registration means that the local Health Centres are stocked with snake anti-venom or bee sting antidotes and that the Personnel know how to administer and treat such cases.

Surely @Aviator this cannot be a bad thing.
Furthermore by registration Government can gauge where veterinary services are needed as well as better training for maximum production.

Famers in Kenya and agriculture in general is neglected ever since devolution . Maybe revamping and streamlining the sector first would be the best thing to do . What about policies that will involve insurance, subsidies or even taking back the whole sector to national government putting in mind Kenya is an agricultural economy ? Agribusiness is the way forward before taxation.
