I'm no longer that young college student I was then. I have seen too much of human folly and greed to believe in any of the ideals I had then. I'm more sceptical now. I have seen too much war and destruction.

I hear what you are saying and acknowledge the truths in your statement.
At the same time, we still have outliers in society who despite being disappointed by our selfish nature and unfair systems, continue to be decent people and seek to do good.

The reality is that man is inherently evil, and Scripture acknowledges that but we keep pushing despite of all the negativity. Chin up senior. You just don't know how many are inspired by your actions.

This is a great song. It's about a young man called 'Polo'. Polo is Lingala for Paul. He came across some money and as usuall, he got lost in Kinshasa in luxury(bilengi) and 'basi'. Basi is plural for 'Mwasi', a girl. He is warned that he will die soon.
