Not surprising you have them.

Actually, most people outside of Nairobi wear them a lot.

I realised that even in nairobi, the reason I didn't see them enough is because I wasn't used to going to places like gikomba or marikiti. In other markets like Toi, you usually find the traders and their suppliers trying to look less "washamba " so they avoid wellies.

If you want to see them kwa wingi, go anywhere past Kangemi ... in Uthiru and Kinoo, they're pretty common and by the time you reach Limuru, they outnumber normal footwear 15:1
