They’ve been the IT couple, the duo many want to emulate. For the better part of 2018 and 2019, Diamond Platnumz and Tanasha Donna have made headlines every single week. And their social media platforms always loaded with new snaps all loved up enjoying their loving relationship.
But are the two having issues?
Going by their social media platforms and recent events, it seems the two are going through a rough patch if they have not broken up already, and this is why we think this is so.
a) Their Body language is wanting
Body language is everything. How someone’s body naturally reacts when a partner is present says quite a lot about their bond. Diamond and Tanasha have always been ‘touchy-feely’ when together. In a recent interview however on Wasafi TV, this was not the case.
While discussing Tanasha’s upcoming EP launch in Kenya, the two seemed quite off with Tanasha even facing a different direction when answering questions from the interviewer. Here’s a snippet from the Press interview.
But then again, we might just be way over our heads here.
b) Diamond did not attend Tanasha Donna’s EP launch
Probably the most important event for Tanasha as she kicks off her music career and Diamond Platnumz was nowhere to be seen., despite him jetting into the country.
Tanasha who seemed heartbroken because his beau was not there explained that he had an emergency back home. Something that the ‘Baba lao’ singer also said was the reason he wasn’t present. Through his Instagram account, Diamond Platnumz explained; “Kutokana na tatizo la ghafla lilotokea nyumbani, imenibidi niruke Dar es Salaam Maramoja kwajili ya kulisolve....hivyo naweza fika nimechelewa, au pengine kutofanikiwa kuhudhuria ghafla ya Uzinduzi maalum ya EP ya Mpenzi wangu Mjini Nairobi Usiku wa leo...Niwakumbushe tu kuwa Event hio itakuwa inaruka live kupitia @wasafitv ...Mlio majumbani msikose kutazama

c) Social Media posts are no more?
You know those couples that are always posting about their better halves on their social media and when the posts stop we know the couple has called it quits? Well, Tanasha and Diamond are such.
Despite occasional posts where the two promote each other songs- which seem to have been shared by their respective communication managers – there are no interesting snaps of the couple like in the past. The ‘all loved up’ photoshoots, the short videos of the two enjoying expensive cruises and dates are no more.
Some are arguing however that their relationship might have evolved out of the ‘honeymoon stage’. Which might be the case here.
What do you think? Is their relationship over or is this a just another bump in their relationship.
