I like the idea, although not sure how practical it is in kenya where android devices dominate the market. It would be cool to leave this little device hidden somewhere in your car and tracking it in case of emergency.

If it works like air tags, anybody whose came close to its coverage radius will see it on their phone as a notification.
Its a built in safety feature so you do not do unauthorized tracking. The security implications are huge. So the person who receives the notification would have to allow it to be broadcast on the network.
Leaving it in your car would be useless, unless you have a very helpful thief.
