E350 accident

This E350 had an accident this morning on Lang'ata Road opposite Sunshine School. It literally flew off the road.

I suspect the guy was high as as a kite. He must have been doing something like 200km, from the Wilson gate to where he crashed, 2 km away opposite Dam/Sunshine. Just look at the trees bana, gari ilipaa...........

ION, he's not DP Ruto's aide as the usual bonobos are saying, though he was from Weston......................

We are blessed with roads littered with glorious, unmatched speed bumps. If you speed and find one on your way, it launches you and your 500 bhp into the skies.

According to eye witnesses the car burst into flames on impact but strange enough the front tyres are intact and the fire was around the engine area.
Why didn't the tyres burn or burst?

The engine is made of a metal with high thermal conductivity. Since the fire was mostly concentrated around the fuel tank, the engine block conducted the heat away from the tires and thus prevented them from burning.

For the record there is no speed bump or pothole where the guy took off. But there is a ka-bend that at high speed can be deady............I've seen more than 20 accidents there in the last 5 years.....................

Looking carefully you can see that the vehicle was upside down. So no flames are trying to rise through the edges of the bottom. Thus the heat hardly reaches the tires except through radiation.
