From shattering the record of the fastest depreciation of the Kenya shilling in Kenya's history to the highest fuel price, it seems Kenya Kwanza is not stopping at breaking the economic records - for the wrong reasons.
In December 2022 Kenya Kwanza broke the record for getting the first credit rating downgrade since 2007!! Kenya got downgraded from B+ to B. Yani we had PEV in 2008, had COVID in 2020 but we never got downgraded
That's not all, today Fitch Ratings has rated Kenya's credit as B with a negative outlook.
