Another doctor succumbs to Covid-19, he was 28-years old

KMPDU has announced that they have lost a doctor to Covid-19 who was just 28years.

In their twitter account, KMPDU says Dr. Stephen Mogusu had not received his salary for 5 months,had no insurance & his young family left with no compensation.


Today, Kenya announced 199 new Covid-19 cases from a sample size of 2,416 tested in the last 24 hours. The country’s total case is now at 88,579

Nairobi county leads with 77 new cases followed by Mombasa with 21 cases, Busia with 20 cases, Uasin Gishu 19 cases, Meru 11 cases, Kiambu 9 cases and West Pokot and Kilifi counties each with seven cases.

Turkana has 5 cases, Laikipia, Narok and Kajiado counties each has four cases, Murang'a with three cases, Kakamega with two cases and Nakuru, Kisumu, Embu, Machakos, Siaya and Kwale counties with one case each.

In the last 24 hours, Kenya has lost 5 more patients to the virus bringing the fatalities to 1,531.

Fortunately, 485 patients have been discharged from various facilities in the country which brings total recoveries to 69,414
