Amazon Firestick outage on Safaricom

So today, Safaricom AI bots became overzealous and caused an outage for all Amazon firesticks connected to their Network.

Several calls to customer service only yielded a non chalant response of, 'we'll look into it.'

Speculation is rife that the biggest network operator in Kenya is about to crack down on all the illegal streamers using their network to pirate copyrighted works.

In a turn of swift technological wizardry, a very simple work around has already been deployed, and is working, to circumvent the firewall block.

How is using firestick illegal? i thought it allows you to stream from regular services such as youtube, netflix, hulu, prime and the likes, there's no legal basis for safaricom to penalise you for that.

A bit unrelated but Google chrome has been my best mini investment (€25) in terms of output in the past few months

Google chromecast iko poa sana, especially the wallpaper it displays when idle, the only problem i have with it is you can't cast local files, it would be good to cast your videos from your hard disk to the tv, also it doesn't support casting on firefox
