I'm trying to set up a payment method for LightSail hosting lakini Amazon wako na upus. Their asking for the debit/credit card number but not taking the CSC/CVV number at the back which acts as a security code. Kenyan banks cannot approve transactions without that number. Is there a prepaid card that can work without the CSC/CVV code vile Amazon wanataka, ama nikimbie Digital Ocean?

I have shopped on amazon with equity debit master/visa before so I don;t know what you are talking about cvv.

When you enter you card details, you enter the card number at the front. From there, you will enter the three numbers at the back of the card. Those three numbers at the back are the CSC/CVV code.

Now, when attempting to add a payment solution to Amazon Web Services, they ask for the numbers at the front of the card, but not at the back. Kenyan banks cannot allow a transaction without the number at the back. That's where the problem is.

last time I used AWS I did not have to enter the CVS details, it just accepted without any issues.

I was trying with a Co-op Visa, same one that I use for PayPal and all I got was bricks.

Something about Co-Op card. It get's rejected on many intl sites e.g. Microsoft, Sony, etc. Where Equity just works...
