The current church is religious..... Just like the way the scribes and the pharisees were... Obeying their laws but not those of God..... They were so blind they even crucified Jesus.
Church zingine they don't accept walevi, or people who Aren't in their right mind.....they chase them away....
Renewal of mind means that you be able to have the mind of Christ....because the aim is to be perfect like God.....

You are lost on the aim, and the literature of having the mind of christ, is it what he preached?
You cannot follow someone and not practice what he preached and again claim to follow him.
The aim is to please God, not to be perfect, because humans cannot even reach a fraction of God's attributes.
This is where I have problem with Christianity, followers do not know or understand God or where to place God, that's why, God is belittled into a trinity, or to having a son... I say this with kindness not to attack.

Yes....we can't reach even a fraction of God's attributes..... But what I meant is
48 You, therefore, will be perfect [growing into spiritual maturity both in mind and character, actively integrating godly values into your daily life], as your heavenly Father

You please God by being doers of the word.
