An alleged payslip of Dr. Mogusu, who succumbed to Covid-19 yesterday has been leaked by Kenyans on Twitter.
Yesterday while announcing his death, KMPDU said that the doctor had not been paid for months, he had no insurance to cover for his medical bills which at the time of his death was close to a million.
Stephen Mogusu has left behind a young family.
The payslip, which is making rounds on social media states that it was printed yesterday, December 7, 2020. Who could have leaked it?
According to the payslip, Dr. Mogusu's basic salary was Sh49,000.
The payslip also shows the arrears paid, this is not clear whether all the areas were cleared, it however shows, the amount is for the month of November 2020.
On the payslip, his Net pay as at November 2020, is Sh653,498.
Dr. Mogusu was employed on a contract term at Machakos which was schedule to end in February 2021
According to the leaked payslip, his house allowance arrears was Sh49,774.
So, was he paid after his death was announced? Who leaked the payslip? Is it Dr. Mogusu's or someone has photoshopped figures? Only time will tell.
