These police should have reasonable gears. They seem like they are arresting someone who stole bodaboda.

Haikosi waliwekwa kwa subaru na wote wakajazana huko....anyway its not an arrest and they should have made it clear to them that they need to be tested, communication ndio hawana. Either that or they cordone the whole area, waweke ile yellow tape.

Edit, waliwekwa kwa landcruiser.

Ill trained. That's the problem with Kenyan police mentality. Everything has to be forceful and brutal. Maybe it's not their fault rather their boss who wants arrests done no matter what.

1. Send a reasonable policewoman dressed up with face masks to tell them that are just going for testing
2. If they decline, the reasonable policewoman moves aside but there is a backup team with full protective gear from head to toe that enforces the law
3 they handcuffs both if they turn violent, if not escort them to an ambulance specially made for people infected with covid 19

Now the CID will infect their family members, and even the boss who wanted them to do arresting in the beginning

If those two women were nyeuthi, they would have been bebwad juu juu na ma slaps. Negro don't know what to do in a situation that requires use of force against mizungu/muhindi

.. Sad. Umeskia shiny eye akisema... Haiya inii ayaa no kurira mararira handu ha mathiii mathimwo Mûrimû, Na no gokurwo matiri.

.. If they came from abroad and followed the laid down procedures, hapa story ingekuwa rahisi sana. I have had clients who clearly made clear that they will not be available because they had come from abroad.. and that they are in self isolation.. Not because they got it but they are obeying the law and for their own good.

.. In other unrelated nyews, don't you think the matatus should have a manifest of anyone who boards.. Complete with a working cell phone number, next of kin etc etc for easier traceability. Some passengers in Nakuru tested positive... The rest.. 2 have been traced as far as Baringo.

There is an attitude that I find with some people which is very irritating. Very irritating. First someone sneaks into the country. Then when the police show up, you start shouting loudly at them at arms length, squirting saliva all over their faces. Hao hata ukivalia mask haitasaidia unless you just throw yourself into a pool of sanitizer/disinfectant or something like that. If I am asked to go pick up people like those, I will not engage them. I will just allow them back in the house, and leave a sentry at the door. Niende nikuje na teasers, nikirudi nitatease na kuchukua kila mtu kwa hiyo nyumba mpaka wale wamekuwa hapo wakimtetea, hata kama ni jirani...niwaweke kwa gari wakiwa wametuliza.

I mentioned a few days ago most of the populace isn't serious about this disease. Imagine this police guy, picks up the virus from this ladies, assuming they're infected.
Then he goes about his biz for the next 14 days, coming into contact with people.
The people he comes into contact with, go ahead and spread, the ones who get it spread to the next and so on and so on.
The reality might be larger than the numbers we think we got.
Stay at home folks, be as paranoid as possible, that's the only way to stay safe.
