10 more patients succumb to Covid-19

Kenya has today announced 394 new Covid-19 from a sample size of 5,752 samples tested in the last 24hours. The country's total caseload increases to 92, 853

Out of the 394 cases, 271 are males while123 are females. The youngest is a two-year-old baby while 93 is the oldest.

Nairobi county leads with 167, Mombasa 59, Taita Taveta 32, Kwale 21, Kilifi 20, Nyeri 13, Kiambu 12, Nandi 7, Kakamega 7, Siaya 6, Kajiado 6, Bungoma 6, Nakuru 5, Meru 5, Nyamira 5.

Migori 5, Kisii 4, Kisumu 3, Turkana 2, Murang'a 2, Machakos 2, Narok, Mandera, Vihiga, Homabay and Lamu recorded single cases each.

Fortunately, 424 more patients have been discharged from various facilities in the country. 303 were in homebased care program while 121 were in hospital.

As of today, 810 patients are admitted in various health facilities countrywide and 6,172 are currently on home based care

46 are in ICU, 23 in ventilatory support and 16 on supplemental oxygen. 7 are on observation.

In a statement, the Health CS says Kenya has lost 10 more people to Covid-19 bringing the total fatalities to 1,614
