Are some leaders from Mount Kenya blackmailing Deputy President William Ruto over the running mate position? We are told the Mt Kenya tribal bevvy are selfishly insisting that Ruto's deputy must be from the region, lest they withdraw their material and financial support in Kenya Kwanza. They are also quietly threatening to re-ignite ethnic animosity between the Kikuyu and Kalenjin communities if their wishes aren’t granted. Those engaged in the insidious exercise believe that Ruto favours Musalia Mudavadi and may just hand him the second most powerful position in the coalition.


So they are not supposed to fight for their interests so they are not branded tribal and selfish?

Its a pity many of our youth have swallowed that vile lie. This lie has been used to subjugate and supress our interests right from colonial era. We need more outspoken Mt Kenya leaders who will not shy from making this a national issue. Call it GEMA nationalism or whatever! We have to wear that GEMA tag with pride just like Luhyas and Kalenjins.

Karibu hapa dunia ya Kenya. We could start by orienting you with a group that's very shameful to belong to. You can't be a Mūgīkūyū. You can't pray facing the mountain and say Thaai thathaiya Ngai Thaai. If you do that, you will be labelled a Mūngīkī sect adherant.

But since you came from Mars, I know you don't know what those miscreants so-called mungiki are. They are common criminals.

Some of us are being labelled thus. It's disgusting!
