Apparently when he went to report to Police he was politely advised by police to forget it if he had any plans of living a healthy and fulfilling life.

It's cowardice.Sometimes you decide to capitulate, cow down and live to fight another day.
In this Guy’s case it is understandable because for one, the bazaar people were working in cahoots with bent copers to defraud people. If you are a model citizen who believe in the rule of law and don’t want to take law into your own hands as you do not believe in the law of the jungle these things do happen. It does not necessarily mean you are a coward and less of a man. It is just prudent especially when life and limb is on the line.
Am not.If you are a model citizen who believe in the rule of law
