Simon Kilonzo, a prominent businessman in Kakamega County, was found dead in his unfinished house on Monday in a suspected suicide.

Several of his workers said that they found the trader’s body hanging from the roof of one of his houses that was under construction at Lwesere village in Lurambi.

He had last been seen on Sunday night.

The local assistant chief, Phoebe Andati, said that police have commenced investigations to establish the circumstances surrounding the trader’s death.

The deceased owned a liquor store and several other businesses in Kakamega town.

Hehe.maybe alikuwa amechoka with life because he had personal issues with maybe friends and family. Na juu slaughtering pigs is what he was used to do he decided to use that method on himself.

how can a prosperous man kill him self n leave his wealth.maybe he was murdered because of his wealth

Kuna watu hawajui kitu inaitwa stoicism. Yaani kukaa ngumu kama Gumo. Vitu vidogo vidogo na mambo madogo madogo yanawatoa jasho. In my first serious employment, two of my buddies and i helped ourselves to some company assets then investigation ikaanza. My fellow culprits tensed mbaya. Within two weeks walikuwa wamekonda mpaka ungedhani wako na mdudu. Mmoja hata alikuwa anafikiria suicide juu hakuna vile alikuwa anaona atasurvive as he was assured of jail.
