I hear marigold acts as a deterrent for pests if you have other crops, is this true?Stark Ayers are generally good seeds but the are overpriced and stay on the rack for so long that most seeds and no longer viable. Simlaw seeds are good, only problem, for me, is they don't stock smaller seed packs. They had started doing GMO shit, I don't know how far that went/is going.
This seller on jiji has really good marigolds. These are French Marigolds, grow to about knee length or so and if you deadhead and prune give you really good flowers
I have bought from her previously and happy to recommend her. I had them planted alongside the outerwall/road and between people nicking them and the dry weather, they finally died out. Hoping there may be some seeds on the ground... but I probably should just go on and order seeds.
Jiji Marigold
My wish list for before the rains next month:
nasturtiumtomato seeds (the long time ago ones that were thin skinned and had flavour!)loquat seeds/seedlingbasil (bought a packet of continental last time, all failed)Not greedy. That will do me nicely.
And oh, Ruto Must Go
Asante Quaddy, hopefully they have them since there is none in their website :#)Kijabe Street.
Ingia hako ka chwom ka Boulevard towards KBC, usikaribie central.... Ingia na hiyo by pass towards globe
Utaona Simlaw.
