Despite some of our weaknesses (kila Sunday kuna harambee ya kitu flani bana) this is why I left ile kanisa tulikuwa tunaenda na mchawi wa Bondo nikaingia hii ya Mt Kenya. Very balanced church even for atheists like me, na ukiingia sacco yao baada ya service ni mambo ya buroti maguta maguta. Very progressive. Shida tu ni that even their English services are half in Kikuyu, hata in places like Karen............

You know something funny guka , madam is from the mountains, I attended severally hii kanisa yenu. When I do they recognize my presence and status and they start speaking English. Now when they speak this English wanagwara all the verbs, nouns,pronouns na adjectives pia haisamehewi. I wish they dont change so that my head can meander all over

Those little towns are stagnating kabisa.
Muhoroni and Koru aren't any better.
Which other church has a fund raising function every Sunday? And I don't mean tithing and offering or such. In PCEA there is always a harambee or two in every service.

One day we had an assignment in Luo Nyaza with my colleagues Engineer Ouma ,on our way we stop hapo chemelil were he transformed, dressed in legio maria complete with a sword ! No traffic police could dare stop the vehicle.
