How many US companies have been charged and fined and still operate today? Apple was recently fined for slowing customers phones so they can buy new ones. You don't become a wealthy company without shady dealings.

Furthermore, the reason why the deal was cancelled by the president is because the charges on Gautam Adani will make raising capital for these projects nearly impossible. It is as simple as that.

You think I am defending Adani, and that is the problem. I couldn't care less. People like Gautam Adani rarely get charged and convicted. The most likely result is he gets a slap on the wrist or nothing at all. That is the reality.

It won't change the fact Kenya needs an overhaul of the airport and the power line built. You won't find a singular 'clean' private partner to take on the investment.

Wanajaribu kupunguza aibu. We have hundreds of airport management companies with international experience and money to fund operations. Being the busiest airport in the region, JKIA should not have problems attracting investors. Kwanini Rwanda watumie $2 billion to build an airport with twice the capacity of JKIA alafu Adani atumie $1.85 billion kupiga viraka?
