Why aren't there cargo flights from NBO?

Country going to the dogs if we can't leverage on the meagre exports we rely on to make the balance of trade less tilted.

Why is Ruto's government not removing the sharp objects from the road?
I get it man. Complaining and whining is tiring. I even spoke against it here in December last year - Post in thread 'Francis Gaitho. v other twitter influencers.' https://kenyanlist.net/index.php?th...v-other-twitter-influencers.36168/post-400818 ...
But it's gotten to the point where one tries to find one good thing to celebrate the current regime and there's almost none. In its stead, there's just depressing stuff and sh!t seems to get worse.
How you continue to support them is something that should be studied, probably by a psychologist.

@upepo is doing the study. Ataleta summary by next week.

The shortage is artificially created so that Jambas and his cabal can start their own air flight companies or get an Adanese company to jostle and compete with KQ.

This is not the first time this has happed in Kenya - sabotaging our national profit-making companies by the high and the mighty.
Jambas may soon start his own airline to compete with KQ and you can rest assured that KQ will be undercut as Jambas will award all Government’s orders to his company.

Jambas has surely learnt from the best:

Let me get this straight. You went on Twitter, saw someone complain of a bad experience at the airport, (must be the first one ever) and you figured, why is this government so bad. I mean it isn't like there is a whole governance structure at JKIA. No! The president must come fix every single "problem" that happens in the country.

If that is how you want to spend your time, nitpicking things to whine about, please don't involve me.

Of the international flights I've taken this year, the KRA guys who lurk at near the exit especially at Terminal E have stopped me twice. Once after landing from Istanbul and the other after connecting with at Dubz.

Yes, the very unprofessional looking fellas do it at random since the outcry last year when they would open all bags googling the values of even personal perfume but it's still very intrusive and tiring. This is despite filling declaration forms beforehand of items worth over $2K.

It's archaic and only serves to put off valuable travellers. That you still support this regime which you have every right reveals a lot though.

Yesterday when watching 9pm news bulletin my young man asks me who is that ? I tell him its our president, then he asks me what's his name?
I tell him its William Ruto, then he is like: arrrrg, i don't even like him!
I further ask him why he doesn't like him... He categorically Answers me in Swahili... 'ni becoz anauwa watu wa mungu!'

Who's that radicalizing him?

JKIA was voted Africa leading airport not just by some random guys but at the WORLD TRAVEL AWARDS let that sink in WORLD TRAVEL AWARDS these are professionals in the industry

see how many awards kenya bagged at the prestigious event the fact of the matter issues will arise EVERYWHERE and others see Ruto EVERYWHERE

We are discussing the harassment of passengers by KRA, not the airport. Besides, any independent list has JKIA at no.7 in the continent at best. Still, the new terminal built under Uhuru deserves praise for being quite nice.

Access Denied: Corruption, Extortion and Fever Cartels at Kenya’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport

Last December, I went to Ethiopia for a networking event, the South-South Media Lab. At Bole International Airport in Addis Ababa, I must have dropped my yellow fever vaccination card somewhere; I can’t be sure. So when our plane landed at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) on 13th December 2018, I confidently took my passport […]
