#RejectFinanceBill2024

It's more likely that the protests are expanding. Youths from traditional protest strongholds are gradually joining in. And these do not carry iPhones but anger and real hunger. The government will soon wish they listened to those with iPhones.

So much senseless death.
Too late , the parliament wameonyesha the middle finger by forcing things and decided today is the day they will pass the bill in record time . The temperatures have been high and all they needed was to step back and reason with the population now things are going south I am sure most of them can't even leave Bunge and face the crowd since they know what awaits them .

Wuehhh. Na brigade ya kibera bado haija-join. Inangoja violence ifike level 4 ndio ikuje. Sasa tuko level 2.
The people have taken back their authority.

Embu Uda office on fire.
Rioters fighti ng to enter Embu governor's office to burn it. The govefnor is UDA chair. They've broken in as I write, cars on fire. GUNs HAVE GONE SILENT i guess they've either run out of bullets or teargas.

Most if not all of the contentious proposals that triggered the calls to reject the finance bill were taken out. But then protests shifted to bringing down the government and Ruto.

I have no love for politicians but I warned here that we risk turning into an angry mob and the message being lost. Even if Ruto is overthrown, the same problems will still exist.

There will be talks of government of national unity, the politicians will close ranks and we will be locked out again. What a waste.

Don't sell your pessimism here buddy.

Eyes on the prize.

Never forget the goal.
