At 11 storeys the building must be one of the tallest in Gaza and therefore iconic. They do it to show they mean business, it's like if someone bombed KICC and brought it down.

Hamas have done wrong by targeting civilians. Yes, the Israeli have done the same in the past and that isn't right too, but it's no excuse.

Hezbollah is not a threat to American ships or to the Israeli Navy. In comparison, Hezbola/Hamas are canon fodder in an all out war. There's great possibility Gaza will be incorporated fully into Israel when the dust settles.

This will be purely one sided...same as Russian/Ukraine war

You’d think so. But no one expects hamas to do much. But with the backing of Iran, look what they have done. Loitering ammunition is a new concept and the super powers are yet to adjust to it. Long gone are the days you could anticipate the trajectory of a missile but if there is someone controlling it, it’s a different ball game
