Not to be disrespectful to Pele (may he RIP) but in my opinion the media overrated his footballing skills. I've tried looking for videos of him playing but there's none that wows me.

He may have scored many goals in his career, but 30% of them were scored during friendlies

Only player to win it thrice.
Regarded as the GOAT by people who actually play the game.
Lastly, please watch this video fully and then if you still hold that opinion of him not having mad football skills, I'll know you know are a hater.

@mzeiya you've said Pele won the world cup thrice which is true. Apart from world cup 1958, do you know the other two world cups he was outshone by other players?

Alafu he was playing in non competitive leagues in South America.

The media creates some people that criticising them becomes hard. People like Mandela, Mahatma Gandhi, Desmond Tutu. Pele is one of them. No player would dare criticise Pele. But truth is even Ronaldinho has better footwork than Pele

You're contradicting yourself. Initially you said Pele is the GOAT because he won 3 world cups and he was the youngest winner at 17 years. But now you're saying Messi is better than Pele yet Messi has won only one world cup and at the age of 35.
