By the way, as one approaches the Ruai intersection from Kamakis, there's a road that is pretty new and 90% complete which ends up near Mwiki.
I used it last week ata kama nilianza kuingiza baridi seeing how free of traffic it is.. Kwa barabara yenyewe amefanya kazi cc @mkurugenzi

I'm not very familiar with those sides but the new road I'm talking about ends up right between Njiru and Mwihoko such that a left turn takes you down that valley that ends up at the junction of Njiru itself

Which road agency publishes such a lazy cartographic or even engineering map? What is that? Is Nairobi north of Ruai? Is Mombasa road west/east of Ruiru? What thinking went into making that thoughtless sketch?

FYI, every map that's not North aligned must have a north symbol (TBH every map should have a North Symbol). That's a basic cargographic convention. Hii ndiyo shida ya employing "professional idiots"

hehehehe, come srow! Ingawa sijui specific rules za oir road agencies, rules are there to be bent.
The rules for maps that are supposed to be digested by your average citizen are not so strict.
Umeona maps za train routes, the rule book is thrown completely out of the window

Nahurumia traffic police will be stationed there. By 3rd May watakuwa na ulcers, eye and breathing problems. Already that place is a mess in the evening since matatu za Ruai /Malaa wanabebea hapo tu .

I do hope and pray this will be done , currently there is no sign of such happening . I shudder to think they can do the same thing they did in Western Bypass pale Ndenderu where they made a roundabout but the plans/drawings were indicating an overpass.

Hii ya hawa imezidi. Depending on it's use, some features of a map such as geographical accuracy can be distorted. For example, the number of railway stations between two locations may be represented as having equal inter-station distances to improve legibility.

The standard practice is to have a north arrow if you change orientation of a map. Most members of public have been trained using maps that have north-south orientation. It's confusing when you change a convention with alerting users of your map.
