Whenever I see Martha getting hate because of being on Kibaki's side in '07, I am perplexed. It's as if we aren't in a democracy that allows for anyone to support their preferred candidates.

Kwanza hio ya kuresign from govt, it's unforgivable. She resigned at a time when Kibaki was getting ma uppercust left, right, centre: From the courts, evil society, ODM. Alafu mama anajitoa further exposing Kibaki. Hio hawezi samehewa.The people that matter when it comes to votes hawako Nairobi ama social media. It's not the "woke' brigade ya akina Boniface Mwangi. It's those humble farmers in Gichugu who watch news and see what's happening. They don't have a platform to air their views but have to wait 5 years to make a speech. And they do.

The grave mistake that she did was to go for presidency instead of gubernatorial seat only to realise later of her miscalculations and coming for the same seat during last elections. By now she could be a two term governor. That post was hers.

This is a leader. I keep reminding people when the two clowns were suspects at the Hague she asked a very simple question- "which one of us would willingly employ a suspect in our homes or businesses ? Not a convict but a suspect? Which one of us would? "

What you are describing can be cured by a healthy dose of PR, no need for a change in personality or doing away with her sneer, PR works wonders.
