Police caught on camera breaking and entering

hapa ni kama kuna wateja walikuwa wamefungiwa ndani, lakini question still stands kama the law allows them to break in kama bar iko open after curfew hours

Policemen got the most ungrateful job in the world, the same people demonizing them are the same ones who complain about bars operating in their neighborhood past hours. That is not to say that they are blameless, some policemen are just legal thugs but I always blame the mode of recruitment.

The problem with some of these "tactics" is they do not encourage adherance to the law. Allowing junior officers to break into premises without a warrant encourages "shakedowns" especially because it's done under the cover of darkness.

I don't think how those cops behaved is by the standard police manual. They cannot take that vendor to court for any of the alleged crimes. They would be laughed out of court.

Could be that he is not a "compliant" trader.

Under which circumstances are police allowed to break into premises without a warrant? Are crow bars standard issue or someone decided to carry one "just in case"?
Cops have power to break in or break out of any building or vessel if they suspect any crime is being committed or for the sake of prevention of a crime, tag me during the course of the day will provide the correct quoting in the constitution.
