Police in Naivasha have arrested 14 suspects and destroyed the crop of bhang valued at Sh. 27 million.

Those arrested were found weeding the bhang in a one acre farm at Kedong Ranch.

Oooh , no wonder he's a regular visitor in kitui. Ati anafuga mambuzi !
 
Most likely it would lose most of its intrigue, attracting fewer experimenters and therefore future abusers.
Mwalimu hapa I disagree; I expect there would be greater uptake, prompting investment into the production. That would lead to better quality product and again more users.

As with anything that is consumed by humans, there would be abusers, but not every user will be an abuser.

On the contrary, we've been sourcing for this over the years ignoring tobacco in our shops. From the smokable to the eatable (cookies).
There's some curiosity created by it's 'illegal' status.
I wouldn't be bothered with it if it's on the supermarket shelves
