A police officer based at Ruiru Police Station and three Mitsumi Business Park workers have been arrested by detectives based at Parklands following a robbery with violence incident where they robbed an accountant 50,000 USD.

Armed with pistols, the four, together with others, accosted the accountant while inside a lift as she was heading to deposit the cash in the bank.

From one of the suspects house in Huruma estate; Albert Ochola who is a plumber in Mitsumi Business Park, detectives recovered 10,000 USD.

They also recovered 12,300 USD from Walter Kiverenge's house at Kawagware. The staff supervisor had concealed the cash inside a water dispenser.

Also in custody is another suspect; Bernard Ogutu Oketch in whose residence in Mathare area one, 10,000 USD, a brand new TV and two mobile phones were recovered.
