He garnered 77 votes while his closest challenger Lordvick Aduda scooped five votes.

Former FKF deputy CEO Herbert Mwachiro came third with three votes while the duo of Boniface Osano and Dan Mule did not manage to get any vote against

Explain this to me, he's been at the helm for four years and during this period football has deteriorated to its lowest level ever!!

Why would anyone genuinely interested in football vote for him??
is it really him or sportpesa withdrawing its sponsership deal?
Sportpesa is mainly what made football in Kenya grow with its funding.

I don't know how long you have been watching football but Harambee Stars went to AFCON last year, after 15 years. There is a time Kenya had two leagues, in the early 2000's. And the country was banned from football in the past, at least now teams will get money from sponsors and Startimes (though the TV rights broadcast amount is little).

Goal can exclusively reveal only three clubs have missed out on the first payments from the new sponsors

Kenyan Premier League (KPL) clubs have received the first grant from new sponsors BetKing Kenya.
Goal can exclusively reveal the money from the Nigerian-based betting firm was wired on Friday, just a day after the 18 clubs in the top-flight were asked to provide their bank accounts by the FKF.

A top club official who did not want to be named, confirmed to Goal they had indeed received a sum of Ksh500,000 from the federation and went further to share an email from the FKF finance department confirming the payment.

What is the true value of football? The betking sponsorship is paltry compared to the actual value and the money that's eaten by officials!

I look at it differently, there was a time people went to the stadium to support the national team, we need to bring back those glory days.
Secondly, grassroot soccer needs to be rebuilt and spread across the country as it were back in the day.

Returning officials who've eaten FIFA monies is madness!!

So what sponsorship were they getting? I would rather go with the opinions of the 77 parties who voted for him, they know what they are doing. Who according to you would have been the one to achieve that?

I was for soka mashinani , I watched the debate which Nick declined to participate and liked the ideas proposed by Mwachiro and Musonye either one would have done a good job in attracting corporate sponsors.

Btw who is betking? we don't even know whether they're nigerian drug lords or not.

I'm also told that those 77 were bribed 35 k each na hiyo ni ile pesa ya FIFA Nick mende amekula!!
